FAQ
Frequently asked questions about this Tainan nightlife guide: data sources, venue selection, districts and transport.
Q-01What is this site?
An independent local guide to Tainan nightlife across six districts — bars, KTV, massage and 18+ adult companionship info — run by the 享樂天堂 brand family, bilingual in Chinese and English.
Q-02Where does the venue data come from?
Google Places. Every venue is verified as operating, rated 4.0 or above with at least 30 reviews, then re-verified monthly. Closed venues are removed automatically.
Q-03How are venues selected?
By review count and rating within each district and category, filtered by fixed adjudication rules. Listing is informational — venues don't pay to appear, and ranking is not endorsement.
Q-04Which district should I start with?
West Central, without question — Shennong Street's old-house bars, the Chihkan Tower blocks and the Guohua/Baoan late-night line are all within one walk. Anping handles romance, East District handles the student crowd, and North District runs on Garden Night Market's opening days.
Q-05Is Tainan nightlife reachable without a car?
The downtown core is walkable — lanes beat boulevards here. Crossing districts means scooters or ride-hailing; there is no metro. After drinks, a designated driver is the only answer.
Q-06How do I contact you or request a change?
By phone or official LINE, listed in the footer. Venues may request corrections or removal of their information at any time.
